and natural curiosity
From Makoto Shichida, QUID+ has learned that a child's infinite potential goes hand in hand with the presence and involvement of the parent, and that it is important to stimulate your child's natural curiosity and ability to learn from an early age.

Makoto Shichida is a Japanese educationalist who has dedicated his life to child education and to developing an innovative learning method. He is the founder of the “Shichida Child Academies”. These are not actual schools, but institutes where small groups of children learn and practice various exercises: relaxation and breathing techniques, specific exercises to stimulate photographic memory and the learning of foreign languages. Reading and maths skills are stimulated through the use of flashcards. All the activities recommended at the institute must be continued constantly at home: according to Shichida, a child's education goes hand in hand with the presence and support of her parents. This is why the suggested games are not to be played alone, but together. According to this expert, all children are potentially geniuses at birth: it is therefore essential to develop their abilities through a process that considers the individual as a whole and stimulates children's natural curiosity and aptitude for learning. There are now more than 400 Shichida institutes, spread across Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the USA. He has written over 100 books, 4 of which have been translated into English, and has received several international awards.
